Mahina- This week I worked on the festival research and scanning receipts for Maia. I really need to start uploading paperwork, I admit I have been procrastinating a bit but I will do it by the end of this week. I am still waiting for SAG to email me back and sometimes that keeps me up at night lol. The fim is looking great! We submitted to showcase!
Colton- Completed Edit for the ACM Showcase
This week I was finishing up a few things before submitting to the ACM showcase. Things like credits, logos, and exporting different file sizes for Vimeo and the submission folder on the google drive. Since submitting it a few people reached out and told me that it looked good so I think it’s being received well. I also heard back from my boss at Montaj9. She gave us feed back on our project which I passed onto Maia.
Zach – Film Festivals and Deliverables
This week, I researched a couple of film festivals that we could potentially submit ‘No Comply’ to. The two I looked into are the Palm Springs International Film Festival Short Fest, and the Encounters Film Festival (in Bristol, England!). 2020 submissions for the former are closed, but I assume the dates will be similar for 2021. And both accept live action and animated shorts!
Regarding my deliverables, I realized that my notes on what we accomplished each production day are quite limited, so I reached out to Keana, our script super, to get a more robust description of each day’s events.
